Most local governments require property owners to minimize construction impact on wetlands. Whether you are a prospective home buyer who wants to know whether you can add a deck or swimming pool before purchasing new property, an older home owner who wishes to sell property quickly, a real estate broker, lawyer, builder, or other representative, determining the type and extent of your wetland early on can help keep your project on-course and on-budget.
Our credentials include Certified Professional Wetland Scientist and Professional Soil Scientist. With 32 years’ experience in the field, including work within governing and advocacy bodies throughout Southern New England, we’re pleased to be associated with many local conservation societies.
Shown here is a wetland that was completely transformed as a result of our work. At left, notice how invasive species had totally choked the life out of native wetland species and trees. Wetland Resource developed and implemented a plan to rejuvenate this natural space. The results are shown at right: the removal of those invasive species, plus planting of wetland species, restored the beauty and ecologic value of the original space.
